Keep on Truckin'

Last week in the UK - flying back to Sydney on Sunday morning, back in Aus from the 18th of May.

Some big wins have been achieved in my time here, firstly on a friends and family level (which is always the #1 thing on return to my birthing place):

  • On the family side, spend as much time as possible with my sister, brother-in-law and new baby niece, as well as with my mother & father.
  • Catch up with my closest & longest friends over the month, have tried to catch up with a wider net of people too but for the first time, I haven't over-committed myself to travelling around the UK to make it happen. Just gone with the flow.

And then "professionally"/my life wise:

  • House sale exchanged and completed.
  • Managed to meet with a prospective PhD supervisor at LSE for a great conversation & advice.
  • Tons of progress made with JamID, ready to launch, closer than ever to MVP.

Potential contract work availability has presented itself with a few different people in my network, from local media and advertising services through to international defence tech. Pretty cool opportunities.

My nervous system is very peaceful. I'm feeling positive, optimistic, grateful and calm, and I'm excited to get back to Aus, dive into winter, sort my life out and put one foot in front of the other as a human, as an intellectual and as a businessman (sorta).
